How to find information

Library Catalogue

We offer a wide range of resources in various formats, including books, magazines, electronic resources, websites, DVDs, audio, and more. These are all listed on the Library Catalogue, which is a good place to start. The catalogue will tell you where to find books and other items in our physcal stock, and links directly to any electronic resources listed.

Library Moodle Page

Moodle is the College's electronic learning environment, whch hosts various learning materials. The Library Moodle page is a portal to all our resources online, including links and guides to our eresources, the library catalogue, subject guides, and more.

Eresources & Ejournals

E-resources provide information in an electronic format. They can be an electronic version of something that also exists in print - for example magazines and books - or they can be a collection of resources brought together only in electronic form, for example a website or a database. All of our e-Resources contain valid, peer-reviewed material from trusted sources.

Ebooks

Ebooks are electronic versions of print books in .pdf format, which you can access from anywhere online. In most cases our ebooks are copies of titles from our print collection. Our ebooks are hosted on DawsonEra and Ebrary.

Subject guides

Subject guides are tailored to gather relevant information for specific subjects. They list and locate print, media and electronic resources, and come in pdf format for easy printing.
